Major Accountabilities
Delivery
- Delivering high quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers
- Providing infrastructure design expertise that allow clients to fully exploit service capabilities for tangible business benefit.
Standards Compliance
- Ensuring that consistency and standardisation of solution designs
- Driving the adoption of defined Aurora standards through collaborative engagement with key stakeholders
Service Quality
- Ownership of the designed solution from inception through to deployment and accountable for ensuring it meets the customers requirements in its fully delivered form
Capability Innovation Delivery
- Collaboration across IaaS and with key stakeholders in order to established well considered requirements for new and enhanced capabilities that reflect the needs of our customers
Subject Matter Expertise
- Ownership of the detail technical design involving LAN, Security, Platforms, Storage and Management Systems.
- Highly capable Technical Specialist who can operate comfortably at all levels of the infrastructure design process. (High level to low level detailed design)
People
- Strong team player who gains and shares knowledge openly
- Experienced at building strong collaborative relationships based on mutual respect.
Experience in an infrastructure design/engineering role
Proven track record in driving standardisation and reuse
Subject matter expert in one or more infrastructure domains, with broad experience across multiple domains
Proven track record in building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
Practical experience of driving infrastructure designs that improve TTM and reduce TCO
experience in network and security is essential.
