Sonographer

Exciting opportunities have arisen for experienced Sonographers to join a leader in providing medical imaging services throughout the Perth Metro area. Our client is currently operating with approximately 60 radiologists which include some of the best in Nationwide. There are 15 different sites across Perth both north and south of the river. This is a varied role as you will have the opportunity to work at multi sites as well as hospital settings. You will be required to perform all required ultrasound examinations at a technical standard to a level consistent with practice standards. You will be required to maintain a high standard of medical ethics at all time. Reporting to the Ultrasound Coordinator, your duties will include but not be limited to; caring for patients by maintaining a high standard of patient care, safety and confidentiality, performing routine ultrasound examinations in accordance with relevant legislation and company procedures. You will assist Radiologists with medical and ultrasound procedures as required and correctly interpret referrals for each examination ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed as required.

To be considered for the role you will be eligible for registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registrar (ASAR). You will have commitment to continued professional self development. You will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team as well as demonstrate sound organisational skills. You will have commitment to excellence in patient care along with the ability to liaise effectively with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds. Meeting variable work demands and prioritising workload will not be new to you.

In return for your hard work you will be rewarded with a travelling allowance and competitive market salary. Uniforms will be provided as well as an opportunity to undertake shift work where shift penalties apply and 5 weeks annual leave per annum (shift workers only).
