SUMMARY
The Sourcing Specialist will support the Sr. Sourcing Manager of Global Sourcing by searching out new potential suppliers, obtaining samples, keeping detailed records, interfacing with both new and existing suppliers concerning the sample approvals or rejections.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Search available sources for potential new suppliers for cellular parts
• Lead the activity with Reclamation to maximize the output that can be used to satisfy build plan.
• Request samples of product from suppliers in order to determine the quality and compatibility of parts with TWLP programs
• File reports created by quality and engineering regarding testing of samples
• Inform suppliers of test results and obtain quotes
• Work towards improving process with constant improvement

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
Four year college with 2 years of sourcing or commodity management Or 2 year college with 5 years of sourcing/commodity management/purchasing.
Strong verbal communication skill.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend written information.
