SOX Financial Control
Our client is one of the UK's most prestigious bank with assets and products within retail, corporate, private and investment banking.
Our client's Governance and Control is primarily based in London (Canary Wharf) and New York. It main focus is to lead and manage the project management of governance and controls of the following aspects:
• Consistent Controls – Accountable for developing appropriate consistent control policies for implementation across the Financial Control function.
• Controls MI – Accountable, in partnership with Sub-functions, for introducing an MI dashboard for first-line controls across the E2E Financial Control framework.
• Conformance – Accountable for coordination of conformance testing needs to embed a second-line of defence across the function and Sarbanes – Oxley (SOx) conformance across the Group.
We are looking for a qualified accountant to support the Group Functions annual SOx process on an ongoing basis, and contribute to process improvements, with particular emphasis on:
• Perform SOx scoping, testing and reporting
• Drive improvements across the SOx team and the wider control environment across the Bank
• Support to the VP, Governance Control – SOx team with adhoc tasks
The successful candidate will therefore be a banking qualified accountant with s relevant track record in SOX financial control, MI and conformance.
Canary Wharf based. £400/day.
