SPACE PLANNER
The Space Planning Executive is responsible for delivering range and space planning strategies through working with the channel teams.
They are responsible for translating channel layout and assortment strategy to the point of sale across both the company and their competitors’ equipment franchises and providing justification of these strategies based on analysis of the retailer’s business.
Duties
Develop leading edge planograms
Consult with the Range Review Manager and Space Planning Manager in respect of proposed and scheduled Range Reviews
Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of relevant Systems, Space Planning and Microsoft software to ensure an efficient use of time and resource.
Provide Excel and data support for both the Range Review Manager and Space Planning Manager on a needs basis
Gather and provide detailed justification and analysis of the company and competitor planograms with recommendations on how the category can be developed
Present planogram and logical category rationale to all relevant parties both internal and external to build and maintain productive, on going business relationships
Previous Space Planning experience required, including having used JDA.
Applicants will be confident and organised, with excellent interpersonal skills, be computer literate and have high standards in terms of accuracy and attention to detail.
Must be extremely numerate with experience in the handling and using of large volumes of electronic data.
