Special situations / PE Analyst / Associate

In this role, you will work primarily with the firm’s private capital funds cross-capital structured funds focused on investing in a variety of sectors and special situations, as well as assist the portfolio management team in analyzing and executing a variety of debt, equity and asset investments.

 

Responsibilities:

? Develop cash flow projection models with respect to an investment, including direct equity and debt investments, joint ventures, structured finance, and performing/non-performing loan portfolios

? Assist with all due diligence relating to new investments, including the review of financial projections, business plans, third party reports, historical financial statements, and market research

? Assist with deal execution, including drafting and negotiating acquisition and joint venture term sheets, and reviewing deal documentation

? Support asset management of fund investments, including developing and executing business plans and strategic reviews

? Monitor and analyze the financial performance of investments

? Create and maintain portfolio models as necessary

? Prepare investment memos to be presented to the firm’s alternatives investment committee

? Assist with internal and external reporting process on all investments

 

You should ideally possess the following:

? At least 3 years of relevant experience, but no more than 5 years of work experience (this is a junior role), preferably in investment banking / corporate finance (FIG, Leveraged Finance/Restructuring, Special Situations).

? Must have strong understanding of accounting and corporate finance. Ideal candidate will also have a background in asset-level analysis and/or distressed credit.

? At least 3 years of relevant experience, but no more than 5 years of work experience (this is a junior role), preferably in investment banking / corporate finance (Leveraged Finance/Restructuring, Special Situations).

? Outstanding academic credentials and demonstrated leadership capabilities
