Specialist, B2B Sales Training APAC – Global Business Services recruitment

Overview

Our client is a leading global provider of business information services, serving the life-sciences and pharmaceutical sectors with up-to-date information, research, advisory and consultancy solutions. Their Asia-Pacific has been progressing steadily for the past few years, and they are seeking a specialist in Training Development for B2B sales to develop their next generation of solution advisors.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of TD in Europe, you will be responsible for the design and development of sales training curricula and andragogical approaches to enable the company's strong sales-force with the relevant sales and customer facing skill-sets. Working closely with various business unit leaders and HR personnel, you will source for and manage the best-in-class external vendors.

As you are working with highly-driven and competent B2B salespeople, you are depended upon to facilitate sharing sessions and to share your insightful learning outcomes and feedback programs to staff and their managers. Being the specialist in TD, you will also establish and monitor metrics to measure the impact of sales skills development programs.

Requirements

This role suits the career development goals of either an experienced sales trainer or a seasoned sales manager who seeks to venture into sales training as part of their next step.

You must be a Singapore-based candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Learning Development, with ideally certifications in sales training methodologies from Miller Heiman or Huthwaite. You should have at least 5 years of proven success in sales and sales management or sales training development, ideally from the pharmaceutical / life-sciences sectors. You should be proficient in English, together with Mandarin or Japanese.

Please note that as this is an APAC role, frequent travel would have to be expected.
