Specialist, Financial Planning & Analysis
Carrier Corporation has an opening for a Financial Analyst to support the Western United States. The candidate selected will report to the Carrier Commercial Service Finance Manager and support assigned Area Managers.
Key Functions include:
- Prepare monthly forecast for management team, including risks and opportunities to the business.
- Participate in monthly financial closing process (including loss reserves, accruals and expense analysis).
- Conduct financial reviews and ad-hoc analysis for commercial service offices as needed.
- Assist in managing accounts receivables by ensuring that receivables and disputes are addressed appropriately and timely.
- Implement and provide guidance to service branches on company financial policies and procedures.
- Provide monthly variance analyses and business insight as needed.
- Apply finance and accounting standards to the business.
- Conduct periodic branch audits to ensure compliance with standards and corporate policies.
- Candidate must have the ability to travel within the U.S.
BA/BS degree with 4-7+ years related experience
MA/MS degree with 2-5+ years related experience
Candidate should be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills in MS Excel. Experience with Hyperion, SAP and Business Objects are a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. The ability to manage competing priorities is a must.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting and five years experience.
