We are looking for people with experience in Accounting/ Controlling for trading products to enhance our team in the profit and loss calculation and validation of the trading results.
The unit "Markets Accounting" is responsible for the Accounting of Markets related products in the UniCredit Bank AG. This includes the responsibility for the profit and loss and balance sheet, the valuation of securities and derivatives, hedge accounting and foreign exchange business. The unit has the responsibility for these topics in the quarterly and annual financial statements and is contact for the external auditors.
Your Tasks
- Responsible for the validation and reconciliation of the IFRS trading results of the UniCredit Bank AG.
- Identification and resolution of reconciliation differences between front office and accounting results.
- Reporting (incl. reconciliation reporting) of IFRS and front office trading results.
- Project work and further development of the processes in the area of accounting for financial derivatives.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent qualification with a focus on banking/ derivatives.
- Several years business experience in the financial services industry in a markets related activity (e.g. front office support, risk and business controlling).
- Experience with using front office trading systems (e.g. Sophis Risque, Murex, Kondor +).
- Experience in the calculation of daily trading profit and loss and deal flow process from front office to accounting.
- Good English skills.
- Accounting skills in IAS 39 would be desirable, training in accounting practises in the Bank will be provided.
- Good skills in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good understanding of figures, assertiveness, teamwork, and resilience.
