Provide market plan that coincides with Treasury Management objectives of increasing Treasury Management sales revenue at an efficient cost to the Corporation.  Through the proper use of the plan, Treasury Management Sales results should increase annually by refining and enhancing indirect sales methods, as well as traditional direct sales.

Specific Duties/Accountabilities:

Market Demographics:
- Assists in the development of marketing plans targeted at commercial and/or industrial firms in conjunction with treasury management objectives.  Coordinates with applicable relationship managers to ensure high quality, professional service to multi-bank clients.
- Develop sales strategy for each demographic profile.

Mass Marketing:
- Develops business opportunities and assists in the accounts of an assigned client base. Ensures that client needs are met, and products and services are marketed effectively.
- Achieves individual business development goals, including new sales, seminars, calling activity and business retention quotas.
- Incumbent will also coordinate Treasury Management conferences and focus groups as needed.

Direct Sales:
- Provides presentations as required to internal and external constituents, including proposal presentations, operational tours, may assist in product and sales training.
- Prepares professional client proposals on an unsolicited or solicited basis.
- Develop sales strategy to systematically address current client list for sales.
- Develop new client leads.
- Maintains frequent contact with clients to ensure that all needs are being met.

Training:
- Maintains required subject expertise, including knowledge of technological advances applicable to treasury management.
- May assist in systematic training for appropriate Bank Personnel to enforce awareness and education of Treasury Management Services.

Internal Communications:
- Establishes and maintains good public relations with the business community to enhance the Bank’s image and to develop new business.  Maintains contact with other Bank business referral sources to facilitate cross selling.  May conduct joint calls with other business development areas of the bank.
- Develop organized communication with appropriate teams to enhance referrals between sales groups.
- Ensure proper sales support and customer service coverage.
- Review on a timely basis reoccurring customer service issues to establish possible sales.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree required
* 4-5 years professional work experience in related field

Additional Qualifications:

• College degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
• Understand demographics of respective market place.
• Understand competitive products and pricing.
• At least 3-5 years bank sales experience.
• Incumbent will possess moderate to complex level of expertise in client relations gained through 3-5 years of financial sales work experience.  Independent decision making required on most transactions.
