SPG Technology – Application Developer – Chicago recruitment
As an Applications Developer you will work as part of a Development team chartered with implementing .NET applications for the Tax Oriented Investments group within the Investment Bank.
You will work closely with the Business Analyst/Project Lead, IT Management, members of the business, and fellow developers to build .NET, SQL Server applications.
Under the supervision of a project manager, you will perform most aspects of product development including technical design, programming, testing, technical documentation, and implementation.
You will also be responsible for post-implementation maintenance and support.Experience in developing and implementing projects under the Microsoft .NET framework is required.
Individual will need to have a strong understanding of IIS, Web Services, SOAP, XML, WinForms, WPF, WCF, and Object Oriented programming and use of standard Microsoft .NET architecture.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.Minimum 5 years of relevant development experience in systems analysis, programming, testing and program implementation in the Windows development environmentExcellent written, oral and interpersonal skills a mustStrong teamwork skillsTechnical Skills:Self-starter with the ability to independently learn the business and technical environment.Experience programming in Microsoft C#.NETSQL Server experience creating tables and writing stored procedures and functions.Experience writing reports with SQL Server Reporting ServicesExperience developing Microsoft Sharepoint applications is desired.
