SQL Server BI/Data Warehouse Developer – Hedge Fund - London
The SQL Server BI/Data Warehouse Developer will be involved in the design, development and delivery of innovative business intelligence solutions to clients across the business. There will be elements of business analysis, architecture design and development using a variety of data warehouse and complex ETL techniques. Some of the main responsibilities include supporting Microsoft SQL Server data solutions for Middle Office, Risk and Product control, building new data feeds using SSIS and providing support and knowledge post-implementation.
The right person will have excellent SSIS 2008 (build new packages and support existing) and SQL Server 2008/2008R2 (T-SQL Stored Procedures, functions, troubleshooting and performance tuning) knowledge. Also, experience delivering SQL Server based data marts or warehouses and must be able to liaise and communicate with colleagues to ensure correct information gained and produced for end users.
Financial experience within Hedge Funds or Investment Banks and experience using reporting tools (SSRS, Tableau) are highly desirable.
