Description

The qualified candidate will assist and support assigned Mortgage Calling Officer on new mortgage applications through credit analysis and preparation or write up and ensures that all loan packages are completely documented and properly structured before being submitted for approval. S/He is responsible for pipeline management of all client requests. S/He provides high level of support/service to team members and clients.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have strong overall knowledge of mortgage business, strong client service skills, be a problem solver and quick thinker, and be able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines. Must be able to act on behalf of Mortgage Calling Officer to articulate rates, structures, etc. Must possess the ability to train junior staff and be willing to supervise less experienced Account Executives. Prior sales experience is a plus. 3+ years of credit analysis experience, preferably in an Underwriting function. S/He will have a strong overall knowledge of mortgage process and a proven track record of successful pipeline management and strong customer service skills and sales ability.
