Risk and Compliance provide risk and compliance services across all BNY Mellon businesses. Organizationally, Risk and Compliance includes the following groups: Risk Management, Compliance, Global Corporate Security, Information Risk Management and Global Business Continuity. Risk Management oversees and delivers risk services and ensures new business risks are reviewed and approved. Risk Management is organized through Chief Risk Offices for each core business and critical operation. Risk managers provide shared support to BNY Mellon for operational risk services for Global Corporate Trust, Depositary Receipts, Treasury Services and Global Operations in EMEA. Compliance helps ensure BNY Mellon's businesses maintain appropriate processes to comply with applicable laws, regulations, BNY Mellon policies and ethics. This is accomplished through business- and business partner-specific teams of professionals, under centralized global management.

Description

Administer corporate customer portfolios that are segregated by geographic area or specialized type of industry. Establish and maintain facilities and loans, deposit accounts, wire transfers, etc. Retrieve and research daily overdrafts for each respective division. Monitor and obtain approval for Daylight Overdrafts and Pending Debits items. Establish credit facilities on the Bank's system based on the credit proposal for approval. Activate facility and provide instructions to the operations area for accrual and billing. Handle all borrowing requests, renewals, rate changes, payments, etc; provide instructions to the operations area to process on the appropriate Bank systems. Research and reconcile discrepancies with Administrative Agent/customer and internal departments. Arrange releases and substitution of collateral, check market value of collateral to maintain proper margins. Review daily reports from the various Bank systems (AIMS, AFS, CAS/CDS, etc.) for mismatch items, inconsistencies, processing errors, suspicious activities, missing documentation, past due interest and fees, etc. Incumbent must have knowledge of accounting and commercial loan documentation. Must have an understanding of Bank of New York Mellon products and services. Typically handles multiple accounts, small to medium-sized accounts, or accounts of moderate complexity. Has responsibility for an assigned portfolio of clients. Works closely with various areas of the Bank, such as Treasury, Loan Operation, Deposit Services, Lending Divisions, Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Compliance, etc.

Qualifications

Incumbent must have good written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline. Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial loan administration.
