Senior Financial Engineer
This role aligns with our Professional Services group; this team is our front end, first point of contact for our clients. The individual in this role will align our software capabilities to include client financial and business modeling needs, and provide constant financial engineering support and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Identify client financial and business modeling needs and efficiently communicate them within the company to better address them and apply them within the software.
- Analyze pricing metrics and test new client requested functionalities of the software to guarantee that they are working according to client business and financial requirements.
- Ability to manage and supervise staff
- Ability to train employees on all mentioned accountabilities
- Train the client on new features of the application due to changes of the software as requested or implemented
- Support the various departments in the company to better understand client requirements from the point of view of their corresponding responsibilities. (i.e. Quant team, Specs Team, Pre Sales team, Integration Team)
- Provide financial engineering client support to help the client reach their financial and business goals by using the software.
- Keep constant communication with clients to maintain a long lasting business relationship with them and to update them as things progress.
- Constant communication with the rest of the team on any updates or changes needed to be made in the software with relation to the client (customization)
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Finance along with a strong background in pure mathematics (more than 5 years’ experience required)
- Expert in understanding and clearly documenting financial and business client requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills is a must in order to communicate with clients
