SENIOR ANALYST, PROPERTY MANAGEMENT GOVERNANCE
Charlotte, NC /Newport Beach, CA
TIAA-CREF is seeking a Senior Analyst to support of our Global Real Estate's equity portfolio in our Private and Alternative Operations Services division and will be based in Charlotte, NC or Newport Beach, CA. The person will assist in the delivery of a Property Management Governance program governing TIAA's third-party Property Management companies. The person will report directly to the Director of Property Management Governance. The Property Management Governance program was established in 2008 and is an industry-leading Real Estate Property Management surveillance process that provides oversight across Global Real Estate's wholly-owned and Joint Venture Portfolio (Office, Industrial, Retail and Apartments) worldwide .
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with key stakeholders to help build out/enhance the end-to-end operational support model.
• Coordination, completion and reporting of onsite Operational Reviews of 15-20 properties annually. Design and oversee the execution of the quarterly Desktop Review strategy, which broadens the coverage of measuring operational compliance of our Property Managers.
• Direct quarterly Property Management Scorecard/Benchmarking process, including the production of professional quality custom Benchmark Reports for each of our Property Management firms.
• Participate in the planning of the Property Management Governance program's many communication and feedback venues - Roundtables, Forums, Newsletters, monthly conference calls, etc.
• Fostering relationships with key business areas including Asset Management, Accounting and Third-Party Property Managers.
