The Senior Analyst is responsible for business analysis and system administration for their assigned program (Reporting, Systems, Compensation, Salesforce.com, etc.). The Senior Analyst will define and document requirements; implement system/process changes or pull required reporting; and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations to improve program sales and operations. Examples of activities include: system/reporting administration, ad-hoc reporting, field training on system functionality or reporting, calculation of program financial metrics, analysis of program activations, rate plans, products, success of marketing activities, and financial impacts of program. The Senior Analyst partners with cross-functional SMEs (ex. Finance, Channel Management, Commissions, Reporting teams, Audit, Quality Assurance, and Program Leadership) to communicate findings and recommendations and implement solutions. This position works closely with the Sr. Manager, Program Managers, Analysts, Business Sales field teams and Business Sales Leadership.

Duties:

Work closely with leadership, field users and SMEs to define and document system, process, reporting analysis needs.

Analyze system/process/reporting to identify required functionality, optimal workflow, trends in the data, determine impacts of trends on program operations and financials, determine improvement opportunities and make recommendations to program leadership to ensure program alignment with Channel Management goals.

Discovery and design of new system functionality, process re-engineering, reports; ad-hoc reporting as needed.

Communicate identified system/process/reporting details, trends, program financials, metrics and recommendations to program leadership and internal stakeholders.

Work closely with Sr. Program Manager to identify opportunities to improve program training, adoption, compliance and processes and implement tactics. (liaison with vendor, if applicable)

Role Requirements also include: Proven ability to prioritize competing needs of multiple, rapidly evolving initiatives; Able to work independently with limited supervision; Problem Solving for complex solutions.

Requirements:

3 + years Business Analysis experience

Intermediate experience with MS Access, Business Objects, SQL including SQL Server 2000/2005 and/or Oracle, and Power Point.

Financial analysis experience; calculation of metrics.

Proven ability to work effectively with Senior and Executive level management

Preferred wireless industry experience

Preferred ability to draw conclusions, escalate issues and formulate recommendations.

Preferred experience with or certification for Salesforce.com

Preferred experience with Quota setting, Commissions processing and performance reporting.

Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree with applied work experience for 4+ years.
