Role Summary

We are presently recruiting for a Sr. Analyst/Associate in the Public Market Investments department. This individual will be a member of the Portfolio Management team within the Global Corporate Securities (GCS) group, assisting with the development and implementation of a systematic portfolio construction and review process.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting and analyzing portfolio optimizations and conducting implementation research.

Role-Specific Accountabilities

• Participate in and further develop systematic processes for equity portfolio construction that incorporate views of both the quantitative and fundamental research teams

• Generate, review, and recommend trade lists

• Take ownership of various periodic (daily, weekly, etc) operational tasks associated with portfolio management

• Conduct research on and implement models related to global portfolio management and active management topics including (but not limited to): portfolio construction, strategy back-testing, and analysis of transactions costs.

If you possess the following, we’d like to hear from you:

• 2+ years of progressive and broad-based experience in asset management with knowledge of quantitative and fundamental approaches to investing.

• Applied experience with quantitative tools and methods, such as portfolio optimization, factor risk models, and performance attribution, is required.

• Advanced degree in Finance, Applied Economics, Engineering; CFA designation is desirable

• Experience with large or multi-asset class portfolios desirable.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a high degree of professionalism combined with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing investment business and technology environments; open to new ideas and approaches.

• Solid, demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills; experience building and retaining solid working relationships internally and externally.

• High degree of integrity and experience working in an environment of partnership and high performance.
