Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking a Senior Associate for the Corporate Finance team to join us in our Chicago office.
Corporate Finance provides objective unbiased advice on a range of financial transactions undertaken by corporations, financial institutions, and governments worldwide. As a KPMG Corporate Financier, you'll need to understand and advise one a wide array of products in today's increasingly complex global financial markets.
In our role as financial advisor, KPMG member firms work on equity and debt transactions undertaken in the world's key markets for clients operating in every sector.
Responsibilities:
- Act as an integral part of the deal execution team from pitch to closing
- Write and prepare transaction related documentation and marketing materials (e.g., information memoranda, pitch books, corporate profiles, market data/analyses, etc.)
- Research and contact potential financial and strategic buyers
- Analyze offers and participating in negotiations
- Perform in-depth company and industry research supporting specific client engagements and marketing opportunities
- Perform financial modeling, including valuation assessments
Qualifications:
- Three years of related experience in Investment Banking or Corporate Finance
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from an accredited college/university; MBA from an accredited college/university preferred
- Superior financial modeling, research and financial analysis skills, and proficiency with financial research tools
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, and specifically of Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to interact with clients and work independently supporting team initiatives throughout the national practice
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills
