Business Overview:
The New York-based MA group enjoys a close-knit, "boutique" environment and affords unique advantages to an incoming VP including direct access to highly experienced senior bankers, direct interaction with clients, and the ability to leverage the global network and resources of a major international bank.

Responsibilities:
The VP will focus on the Consumer space in North and South America, which is a strategic focus for BNPP Corporate Investment Banking, and will have additional opportunities to work across other sectors covered by the broader team (e.g. Pharma, Building and Materials).
• Support the origination and execution of diverse corporate finance activities and manage several assignments in parallel.
• Perform advanced financial analysis and lead transaction execution
• Supervise / train the junior resources and contribute to origination efforts, team discussions and client management

Skills

• Strong academic background from a top undergraduate program
• Minimum of six years of experience in corporate finance (Investment banking, Transaction Services of a Big 4 or MA department of a major Consumer company). Applicants with an MBA and two/three years of experience in corporate finance after college are also welcome
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Strong understanding of corporate finance techniques: modeling, financial analysis and valuation methods
• Experience in working with senior management
