Description

Incumbent acts as client coordinator for all trust/custody structural asset events from a plan/securities/accounting perspective. Also has responsibility for coordination of standard and ad hoc client events. Incumbent also has sole responsibility for providing accurate fee billing instructions and reviewing and approving all client invoices that generate annual revenue (trust revenue) of between $5 - $7m. This position will also be responsible for maintaining and updating client revenue accruals. Position will have responsibility for providing insights into best practices for the Global Client Administration organization. The incumbent will also serve as the subject matter expert on contractual requirements as outlined in the standard trust/custody agreements. Position will also have the responsibility to distinguish between standard and non-standard contract provisions. Partners with Relationship Executive and Service Director/Account Manager in providing overall investment activity and client billing service and support. Incumbent also will have direct client contact around the fee revenue billing and asset reallocation. Asset events for this client book are known to be complex in nature due to the size of the relationships. Unsuccessful execution/performance of this job could result in operational, compliance, financial, market and reputational risk. Incumbent may also be back-up to Client Administration Team Leader and act as escalation point in TL s absence. Incumbent will also be responsible for mentoring/training Assistant/Associate Client Administration Officers as needed and may have input to performance reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor s Degree or commensurate work experience. 6-8 years experience. 6-8 years experience industry experience preferably with operational experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form to all levels within BNY Mellon and client organizations, outstanding client service skills, outstanding problem-solving multi-tasking abilities, outstanding knowledge application to unique situations, excellent influencing persuasive abilities, able to mentor/train assistant/associate/CAO staff, solid people management skills to back-up CA Team Leader, strong leadership, project management analysis skills, solid technology/PC Excel, Word, PowerPoint, company platforms.
