Responsibilities:
Reviews internal/external communication for a specified area or region.  Provides feedback on press releases. Selects, develops, writes, and edits material for various organization publications. Ensures that all materials meet established standards as to appearance and content. Obtains cost estimates and collaborates with the production side of print and web media illustrators, proofreads content and may be part of their work approval process. Trains employees on effective writing of sales presentations, marketing collateral and other marketing items. Develop and maintain editorial style guides and implement style consistency throughout project phases. Coordinates the implementation of marketing strategies and assists with research and analyses. Assists in determining marketing and promotional needs. Coordinates advertising projects with outside vendors.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in Marketing,

preferably with focus on Communications, and a five to six years of related experience and/or training.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business

documents. Possess excellent writing skills for reports, manuals, speeches, and

articles in a pre-designed style and format. Aptitude to effectively respond to

complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or

management. May be required to present information to an internal department

as well as groups of employees.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires

intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and PhotoShop.
