Sr Compliance Engineer
Tyco Security Solutions is a division of Tyco International, a worldwide leader in fire protection and electronic security solutions. Within Tyco Security Solutions, we design, manufacture, and distribute thousands of products ranging from fire detection and suppression systems, personal protective equipment and intrusion security to access control and video solutions, anti-theft and Electronic Article Surveillance/RFID Systems through our five strategic business units (SBUs). TSS is currently recruiting for a Sr. Compliance Engineer, to be located at our Westford facility in Massachusetts.
A successful canidate needs to have a strong understanding of the Compliance Field coupled with a strong technical background.
The candidate should also be well versed as a team member in designing for industry compliance (UL, CE, FCC…etc.) and have the ability to work closely with F/W, CAD, Mechanical, Technicians, Quality and Tech Support. In addition you will interface directly with manufacturing, outside vendors, marketing and sales.
Obtain Compliance Approvals for New Products
Test Support Compliance Testing of new future Products
Maintain current Product Line Approvals
Sustaining Engineering
Solid background in supporting designs in obtaining compliance approvals (UL, CE, FCC…etc.)
Be a positive active team player
Attention to detail
Identify possible issues at early stages
Self motivated individual
Experience with UL-294 UL-1076 standards is a plus
