The Sr. CQ Specialist - HPLC/GC Training acts as essential agent in the identification, development and implementation of training needs for exempt and non exempt personnel in the Chemistry Lab at Rocky Mount facility. The incumbent must be able to identify, develop, and conduct training required for new and existing personnel and contractors with respect to HPLC and GC testing. This includes, but is not limited to work methods, procedures, GMPs, and task related activities.
Responsibilities include:
1. Develops, schedules and presents training/classes/presentations for all employees involved in HPLC, GC and spectroscopic testing in the CQ lab.
2. Evaluates and communicates positive and negative results resulting from completion of training and qualification events.
3. Properly documents all training.
4. Works closely with management to ensure chemistry personnel are properly trained and are using proper technique on the job
- BS in a scientific discipline, preferably Chemistry.
- Three or more years of experience working in a pharmaceutical GMP QC lab.
- Experience with HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, Lab Prep and Wet Chemistry
- Proven experience in instrumental methods of analysis with preference on automated equipment
