Description
Senior Credit Markets Research Analyst will conduct independent research analyses and studies on fixed-income sectors and individual securities. S/he will review, analyze and recommend performance-driven buy, sell and hold portfolio recommendations. Primary functions(s) include, but not limited to, sector and security-specific analysis. S/he will develop and maintain studies and credit statistics on Global Structured Finance products including Residential Mortgage Backed Securities (RMBS), Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS),Consumer ABS as well as, CLO's and Covered Bonds . S/he will work closely with portfolio managers and Head of Investment Portfolio team. The analyst will also assist other members of the credit markets research staff.
Qualifications
BA/BS. Advanced degree preferred. 8 plus years analyzing or monitoring fixed income securities at a buy or sell side research department or rating agency. Candidate must be capable of discerning and assessing (both quantitatively and qualitatively) the complex interactions of various aspects of structured-finance portfolio analysis. Interpersonal skills are also important due to the frequent interactions with bank colleagues and external auditors and regulators. Familiarity with Access, SQL, Bloomberg and BlackRock Solutions.
