The Sr. Data Security Analyst plays an integral role in supporting MBErsquo;s ability to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its information assets. This position will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enforcing multiple data security standards, processes and initiatives. This position is also responsible for managing the anti-virus and anti-malware solution as well as the security update and patching process for corporate and franchisee systems. Other Duties Designs, implements, and administer security solutions in a distributed systems environment Maintains security patching for the internal (workstation and server) and external customer environments utilizing an Information Technology Asset Management solution Creates custom patches and updates deployment packages through scripting and external customer environments to ensure adequate protection from malware threats Maintains the Web Content Filtering system, as per established security policy Performance of penetration testing, security analysis, and risk and threat assessments for network infrastructure and applications Support and enforce Data Security standards and guidelines Assist in identifying security risks and threats by participating in security reviews, evaluations, and assessments Maintains update, and utilize Intrusion Prevention system in a proactive and reactive way to support security policy Performs tests, security analysis, and risk and threat assessments of network infrastructure and applications Gathers, analyze, and respond to security log and report data Supports and enforce Data Security standards, guidelines, processes and procedures Assesses and remediate active exploits and malware infections in internal and external environments with 24/7 incident response Works effectively as part of the Information Security team to address the teams objectives and priorities Preferred Competencies Applies knowledge of technology industry, trends, and best practices to UPS. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: A U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Knowledge of CISSP, SANS GIAC, or CISM Certifications?
