The Senior Database Administrator is responsible for the administration of database servers and databases, and participates in the analysis, design, implementation, testing, installation, and documentation of new database related systems that support the investment management process.
The position will also assist in the design, prototype and development of a high performing database solutions. Building next generation interfaces on the most current Microsoft product versions interfacing with SQL backend databases via Entity Framework, and ADO.NET (directly and in a multi-tier environment). TBCAMs database environment is Microsoft SQL Server for internally developed applications, and interfaces with Oracle databases via direct SQL, stored procedures and linked servers.
Qualifications
BS or BA in CS, EECS, MIS, or related field. 8 years experience with 4 years experience designing and developing software on a Microsoft SQL Server. Experience developing and administering relational databases on our SQL Server environments (Production, QA, TEST)in a Windows-NT environment. Ability to administer multiple SQL Servers. Familiarity with network communications concepts, and client/server architecture. Ability to work effectively with minimal direct supervision.
