Director/Sr. Director of Mobile Software Engineering

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a seasoned Engineering Director to head a team of elite engineers creating innovative software for mobile devices. You will work directly with customers partners while overseeing agent technology. The ideal candidate must possess a get-it-done attitude proficiency with both directing novel new development as well as scaling a successful quality model across our growing international list of customers partners. The successful candidate will be at ease with both management technical leadership roles will know when to apply abilities in each area to reach a positive outcome.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Function throughout the organization to define deliver a novel mobile software product, technology strategy roadmap.
- Increase, supervise, mentor a team of elite mobile device engineers to deliver both embedded mobile application-level products.
- Interact cooperate with customers partners.
- Practical participation in functional design doc reviews.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in CS or EE, MS desired, or equivalent experience.
- Dedication to quality through best-practices including functional testing, test-driven development, continuous integration comprehensive automated unit, etc.
- Capable of timely providing high quality deliverables with a positive attitude.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with embedded devices, preferably mobile phones. May include:
- Familiarity with assembly programming/debugging (ARM experience preferred).
