CSC has an immediate requirement for a Sr. Information Security Engineer to support the EnRoute Technical Assistance Support Services (ETASS) contract with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Located in Arlington, VA. US Citizen or permanent Resident and must be clearable for position of Public Trust. Essential Job Functions Candidate will support the Program Security CertificationLead and Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in the development and maintenance of programs security posture, documentation and continuous monitoring efforts. Requires the ability to review and implement security control requirements through NIST 800 series special publications. Knowledge of FAA regulations, standards and orders. Knowledge of requirements by FISMA, OMB, DOT and FAA Orders and policy Provides expert technical consultation on highly complex tasks; assists and/or provides limited direction to lower level technical personnel. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred CISSP certification preferred Nine or more years of experience in computer science, management information systems or data security experience Experience working with information security practices, networks, software, and hardware Experience working with computer programming Experience working with operating systems Experience working with computer desktop packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. Experience working with security architecture Other Qualifications Strong analytical and problem solving skills for resolving security issues Strong organization skills to balance work and lead projects Strong leadership skills to effectively mentor and lead junior level personnel Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members Strong communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel Ability to handle complex problems Nine or more years of security and system engineering work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Remote Work Authorized: No Relocation Assistence: Not Available Clearance Level: Public Trust
