Job Description:
With an office based out of Chicago, we are a leading financial technology firm that operates various business lines worldwide. Due to recent growth and a strong increase in company revenues, we are expanding our software engineering team. We are looking for a talented Sr. Java Developer to work on our highly scalable Java/J2ee web applications based out of our Chicago office.
As part of a growing software development team, you will work on high transaction J2ee systems and get the chance to implement new architecture. You will the the opportunity to work on a technically gifted team that facilitates a rapid development process, and you will get the chance to mentor other team members. If you are a Senior Software Engineer with core Java, Spring / Hibernate experience, and a desire to join a rapidly growing financial technology firm, please read on!
What you need for this position:
- At least 3 years of core J2ee server side development experience
- Strong working experience with Spring and Hibernate
- Having worked with JNDI / LDAP or other security packages is a plus
- Prefer experience with Agile development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
