We are looking for a Senior Java Developer for a large client in Rockville, MD. The types of projects the developer will work on are a mix of system replacement, "green field" new development, and enhancement projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and test client enterprise search solution
- Design, develop and test SOAP-based search services
- Java Web-based applications
Technical Skills Required:
- 8 – 10 years experience in software development
- 5+ years hands-on Java
- XML/XSLT
- Extensive knowledge of programming methodology and development life cycle
Functional Skills Required:
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Excellent problem identification, analysis and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
