Sr. Java Engineer
Job Description
RadioField a division of CargoTel, Inc., the industry leader in automotive logistics software, is looking for a Sr. Java Engineer to join a new company team building a suite of realtime web and HTML5 mobile applications driven by a Business Process Management (BPM) engine. RadioField provides applications that enable large distributed workforces to be managed centrally.
RadioField is looking for a experienced engineer who will be primarily responsible for helping architect and develop the RadioFIeld workflow management backend and supporting web services.
Ideal candidates have experience developing BPMN/BPML workflows (Activiti experience strongly preferred), Java web services and database backend expertise using Java ORM technologies (Hibernate/MyBatis), experience developing BIRT/Actuate reports and developing data warehouse reporting systems (Yellow BI). Experience with Django/Python a big plus.
Skills Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with business analysts to model and develop enterprise BPM models by defining requirements for data, workflow sequencing, logical processes, and interfaces with other systems
- Develop operational reports (BIRT/Actuate) for workflow system and integrate workflow management with BI data warehouse backend (YellowFin)
- Full life cycle new development using Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, SOA, and Postgres SQL
- Ability to analyze business requirements, design, develop, test and implement software services
- Define enterprise services to enable custom workflow functionality
- Develop testing and system validation strategies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Workflow/BPM Platform experience (Activiti strongly preferred)
- Eight plus years of software development experience in enterprise development and design
- At least five years in object-oriented design and development in an enterprise-wide application environment utilizing Java/J2EE
- Experience with web services and service-oriented architecture
- Scrum/Agile experience
- Experience with Spring Security, Spring JPA, Spring Batch Integration
- UI experience, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript (preferably Angular)
- Postgres SQL, Oracle or MySQL database experience
- Git or SVN scm
- Experience developing Tomcat applications
