Technical - Senior Java Developer, Trade Capture [Consultant]
NYC ELECTRONIC TRADING FIRM IS LOOKING FOR A STRONG JAVA DEVEOLPER WITH EXPIERENCE IN THE HIGH PROFILE TRADE CAPTURE TEAM.
This Trade Capture team is concerned with capturing all of thedata across all systems. Every trading message must be stored, normalized, and correlated to other messages. From this consistent data store, other teams may write monitoring programs, perform analysis, and run a range of reports.
You will be involved in all aspects of software development. Hard core server-side JAVA programming will be the bulk of the work.. You will also be Working with other groups and their specific trading platforms. You will work with state of the art server technology, databases, and development tools. Working alongside a talented team of engineers and testers who are passionate about data.
Qualifications / Skills
- Excellent core Java skills
- Knowledge and experience with concurrent systems is highly desired
- Knowledge of messaging platforms, pub/sub, low-latency, etc. are also highly desired
- Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL) is a huge plus
- Experience, knowledge, and/or curiosity about functional programming languages such as Clojure, Scala, F#, Haskell, or Erlang.
- Salaries up to up to 100hr. This is long Term
