Position Description:
Job Responsibilities:
•Architect, design and develop applications based on Lotus Notes/Domino technology
•Confers with internal customers concerned with programs to resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and internal checks and controls
•Coordinates and participates in analysis, design, development, integration and testing of new and enhancements to existing Liferay Portal Suite application.
•Builds user interface applications and back-end databases using various programming and scripting languages
•Conducts configuration and deployment of custom application software.
•Train and mentor end-users and other developers in software applications and maintain effective communication with users and other teams to resolve problems.
•Plans and coordinates analysis, design and development of web-based user interface program.
•Assists in project planning and design as well as develops project estimates and manages work plans.
•Creates prototypes and functional specifications for software projects.
•Prepares and gives presentation to senior management
General Requirements:
•5+ years relevant experience
•Experience with process industry and/or operations environment a plus
•Extensive knowledge of Lotus Notes and Domino is required. Project Management experience helpful
•Background and knowledge necessary to organize and direct implementation of software updates
•Ability to interface with internal customers and troubleshoot software problems
•Employee meets department training requirements
Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise
• Minimum 3 years experience in Lotus Notes, Domino, LotusScript, DML, XPages, JavaScript
•Expertise in Java, Web Services, XML, XPATH, XSLT, jQuery
•Understanding of Windows security and knowledge of internal working of operating system
•Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
•Ability to write technical reports and correspondence
•Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization Physical Requirements

Educational Requirements
•Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from 3 or 4 year college or technical school; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
