Job DESCRIPTION

Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.

Manage a group of Contracts Professionals who work primarily with Government Contracts. Participate in the Houston Site Leadership Team to enable success of site financial goals, customer satisfaction, business growth process improvment initiative, associate growth and career development.
Provide guidance and support of negotiations and customer communications, resolve contract conflicts and work with legal to enable robust contracts terms resolution for the team and the business unit.

Bachelor Degree in a Business related field is mandatory. Masters Degree preferred.

15 years min. in Government Contracts and at least 5 years experience in Management of contracts associates. Knowledge of FAR/DFAR and other prime contract flowdown terms required. Must have excellent verbal and written skills. Background and success in the sue of ACE tools or similar process improvement initiatives and ability to adapt to changing business environments.
