The Role:
This Senior IT Operations Analyst will be a senior team member responsible for working within the On Demand Delivery team. The role will help to drive the business side of the infrastructure team driving Service Level Management and Continual Service Improvement. The position is located at CA Technologies Cloud Connected Enterprise headquarters, located in a beautiful bay front campus just off of Hwy 101 in Redwood City.
Responsibilities:
* Monitoring Auditing (ensure maintaining 100% coverage)
* Configuration Management System (CMS) Auditing
* Light PM
* Drive Problem Management within the infrastructure group
* Coordinate / write RCAs to meet or exceed 48 hour SLO
* Monitor activity against development plans and available budget
* Ensure effectiveness of change management programs.
* Monitor activity against development plans and available budget
* Help drive Continual Service Improvement
* Design, develop and implement IT performance management initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion.
* Lead collecting data and analyze trends compared to baselines, targets, SLAs and benchmarks.
* Deliver reporting and analysis on processes and resources
* Participate on cross functional teams on strategic direction, integration, prioritization and execution of Service Level Management
* Create and maintain a service improvement plan to continually monitor and improve the levels of service.
* Assist in conducting periodical maturity assessments against the process activities and roles associated with the process activities to demonstrate areas of improvement or concern.
* Recommend/coordinate the implementation of improvements opportunities defined in the service improvement plan.
* Ensure that all approved actions are completed and they deliver desired results.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years in Information Technology field working in an operational role
* Process oriented
* Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
* Ability to shift priorities as the business dictates
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment with little guidance at times.
