Description
Reporting to the Head of Defined Contribution, the professional will be responsible for representing BNY Mellon Asset Management (MAM) in existing client, platforms and consultant meetings as well as at industry conferences and functions as needed. This individual will serve as a primary investment contact for assigned clients and platforms to provide the investment philosophy, process and performance of Defined Contribution (DC) specific products across MAM investment subsidiaries. The individual will also provide guidance and be involved in writing quarterly investment commentary, overseeing development and updating of current RFP responses questionnaires and marketing materials, and prepare investment commentary for BNY Mellon DC Investment Only client letters and newsletters. Participation in sales meetings and department initiatives on an ongoing basis is also a component of the job. The individual will be able to articulate equity and fixed income investment processes as well as asset allocation processes specific to products that fit a DC plan or other Salary Deferred Arrangements. The professional will also work with the Head of Defined Contribution in product development efforts viable and specific to a DC plan or other Salary Deferred Arrangements.
Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills and in-depth knowledge of the MAM DCIO investment products are required. Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills are also required. Seven or more years of investment experience. BA or BS degree in business or similar advanced degree desired. CFA is preferred.
