YARDI Voyager is CBRE Global Investors’ platform to account for its global funds. It provides an integrated, centralised browser-based accounting, property and fund management solution that spans the global marketplace. YARDI offers real estate investment and management tools with the ability to record and calculate real estate investment transactions, such as cash flows between levels of ownership, equity pick-ups, and consolidations of investments.

Position Overview

The Yardi Programmer Analyst will lead the design and development of Yardi database reporting for our global business, including data modelling and integration/consolidation of multiple diverse data sources. Our Yardi Voyager applications currently run on Oracle 10g version databases. Yardi applications, real estate industry/accounting knowledge, as well as experience with different reporting tools, are all desired experiences for this position. This position is located in our downtown LA headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business analysts, project managers and end users to translate requests into database queries, analyzing data and transforming results into actionable reports

• Provide vision and guidance on the best possible report development approach using available tools

• Design and develop reports and sub-reports using both Yardi in-house reporting platforms as well as integrated reporting applications such as Crystal and Cognos

• Validate report results against requirements

• Develop stored procedures required for reporting

• Provide technical and end-user documentation for created reports

• Continuously monitor the performance of existing reports. Optimize and fine tune slow running reports

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience

• Experience in developing financial, property management and accounting reports. Experience with financial applications is a great plus

• Advanced SQL report scripting skills.

• SQL tuning and performance optimization skills

• Strong Crystal Report writing

• Oracle PL/SQL skills

• XML Coding

• ASP .NET programming experience is a plus

• Yardi specific report writing experience is highly desired:

- YSL

- Crystal Reports

- Custom Analytics

- Launch Word/Excel

- Correspondence Manager

- Ad Hoc

• Advanced user of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with knowledge of Excel formulas, functions and macro experience.

• Strong requirements gathering skills.

• Superior communication and customer service skills.

• Advanced user of Excel/Word/Adobe Acrobat

• Natural ability to take ownership, act with a sense of urgency and accept challenges.

• Highly organised, with an attention to detail.

• Ability to prioritize demands of third parties.
