Description
The job holder manages the overall program for specific BNYM OnCore/Eagle Global Outsourcing implementations, coordinating the efforts and resources of multiple project-level workstream teams who contribute to broad global outsourcing implementations. S/he provides the program leadership to articulate an overall project vision with key objectives, strategies, sponsorship, and priorities consistent with contractual obligations, regulatory changes, and project requirements. S/he works collaboratively with client to define and control the implementation scope. S/he coordinates the larger Global Outsourcing Implementation teams, and other internal implementation partner teams (e.g., Eagle Global Professional Services, Asset Servicing Technology, Operations, Offshore technology, Client Services, Relationship Management, etc.) to deliver an integrated global outsourcing implementation. In addition, s/he identifies resource requirements and manages project resources to ensure quality implementation execution thru to completion. Works with individual workstream leads to coordinate project activities such as business analysis, development, configuration, unit/system testing, UAT coordination, documentation/training, and delivery using Global Outsourcing s Implementation methodology and toolset. S/he is the main Implementation contact to the client and is the single point of accountability for overall project execution. S/he communicates project status to external and internal stakeholders on a frequent basis, including all project, issues, risk and budget management items. This role would participate directly in pre-sales presentations and solutioning exercises relative to implementation program management. This position reports to the Head of Global Outsourcing Implementation Services.
Qualifications
Demonstrated success over at least 7 to 10+ years as a Project Manager in the financial services industry.Demonstrated project/resource/issues management skills, leadership capabilities, and a strong sense of team work in the development, articulation, and delivery of large complex multi-layered business and system strategies across multiple internal and external teamsSignificant expertise with Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Microsoft Project, Sharepoint, Power Point, and Word.Demonstrated and sustained ability as both a strategic thinker and a hands-on achiever acting as a champion and change-agent.Outstanding oral and written skills are critical to effectively working with client management, an array of internal implementation partners and stakeholders, and program vendors.Job holder should possess an understanding of the BNYM OnCore outsourcing platform, including Eagle software components.S/he must have experience with working with multiple clients at one time, and demonstrate the accountability and capability to organize and prioritize appropriately to support multiple activities concurrently.BS/BA degree Business Administration (Management, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Communications), or Information Technology or equivalent/relevant work experience; Advanced degree a plus.
