Sr Project Manager with Front-end Experience Job in San Francisco, California US

Our San Francisco client has an immediate need for FOUR Sr Project Managers with Front-end experience for a 6++ month contract opportunity.  This position has strong potential to extend.

 

This person will have day-to-day responsibility for managing 4-5 projects of moderate to high complexity to completion, and lead the activities of multiple cross-functional teams to complete projects in support of Global eCommerce’s business strategy and objectives. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

·      Understand and drive project/program through its lifecycle phases to successful completion as defined in project’s charter.

·      Demonstrate advanced skills to develop and maintain project/program schedule, identify and track milestones and identify and manage cross functional dependencies.

·      Independently prepare and maintain a Project Risk Assessment; develop and execute plans for managing risk.

·      Develops and executes communication plan / status reports at the project, program, organization and executive levels.

·      Independently determines what requires Change Management and executes the process according to the established guidelines: prepares analysis, manages approvals. 

·      Form, motivate and lead high-performance cross functional teams

·      Coordinate production issue resolution on an on-call basis.

               

Skills / Qualifications

·      A minimum of 6 years full lifecycle project management experience in related industry (retail, large-scale ecommerce) managing medium and large sized projects. 

·      PMP Certification a plus

·      Experience using several development approaches (Waterfall and Agile ideal)

·      Comfortable with ambiguity and working independently

·      Advanced MS Project skills, skilled user of other MS Office products
