Reporting directly to Managing Director, Sales and Relationship Management, the Sr. Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for expanding TBCAM product sales within an assigned geographic and/or end market opportunity set by identifying and cultivating prospective clients, initiating and following up on new business opportunities, leading meetings, and closing sales to a variety of institutional decision makers, including traditional corporate and public DB/DC plans, endowments/foundations, financial intermediaries, family office/MFO and fund of funds. Occasional, opportunistic coverage of select consultants (field and/or research) may also be required.

The incumbent will be expected to meet the sales goals and objectives set by the Managing Director of Sales and Relationship Management and the Global Head of Distribution. These goals and objectives will be both individual-based and overall team-based targets, and will include individual activity and/or sales targets for specific products and/or client types.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience selling high-value institutional investment services and products and must possess a comprehensive understanding of the investment management business, in particular active global equities, equity long-short hedge funds and other alternative investments.

MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. Must be a registered rep (holding Series 7 and 63) or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire. The candidate will be offering private placement products through MBSC Securities Corporation.

Additionally, the incumbent will have very strong analytical and financial analysis capabilities. A thorough understanding of financial markets, sophisticated investment solutions and asset allocation techniques is required.

He/She must be a polished, professional sales executive, and will have highly effective interpersonal and managerial skills, strong and persuasive presentation and communication skills, unquestionable ethics and integrity and will be collaborative, self-motivated, team-oriented and results driven.

* Extensive travel is required.
