General Dynamics C4 Systems is a diverse and growing business. We are currently seeking a Sr Software Engineer for the San Antonio based product development operations. This position will be responsible for conceptualization, requirements gather, architecture, design, development and testing of software for a high assurance computer system. Tasks include requirements analysis, software design and architecture, software integration, testing, debugging, maintenance and interfacing with customers. Ability to analyze existing designs and software architecture and to develop new designs to facilitate the implementation of high assurance enterprise computer systems technologies. Requires ability to manage self effectively to meet schedule commitments and mentor other software developers though out the entire software development lifecycle. Requires good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills to support work in a team environment. Applicant selected will be subject to Government security investigation and must meet US Top Secret clearance eligibility. Consent to Counter-Intelligence polygraph may be required. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, a related field, or the equivalent experience is required. Advanced degree preferred. In addition, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required, 12 years are preferred.

Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance is required.
