Organizational Objective/Purpose:

Windhaven Investment Management is an SEC-registered investment advisory firm serving high net worth individuals, trusts, retirement plans, foundations and endowments. We broadly diversify investment portfolios across the global capital markets and regularly include exposure to gold, commodities and real estate, in addition to more traditional investments in US and non-US stocks and bonds. To guide investment decisions and manage portfolio risk, we use our proprietary Global Strategies Model.  Windhaven is a wholly owned subsidiary of Charles Schwab and is located in Boston, MA.

Brief Description of Role:

• Provides marketing and sales support for Windhaven salespeople who are in the field and serves as a point of contact for Schwab sales partners.
• Maintains and distributes talking points pertaining to Windhaven's current market views and investment strategies.
• Provides sales support through ongoing communications with Schwab sales partners.
• Coordinates Schwab events and branch presentations.
• Positioned as the team to call when unable to reach the salesperson covering a region.
• Updates information on Schwab's internal intranet (IWIN) based on Financial Consultants requests and questions.

Technical/Functional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Advanced degree or industry certification equivalent e.g. CFA, CFP a plus.
• 3-5 years of investment experience
• Passion for global investing and finance with strong client-focus and the ability to provide a superior level of service
• Excellent analytical skills with a superior level of attention to detail in order to adhere to policies, procedures and guidelines
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics
• Collaborative and relational work style with proven success in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially the ability to listen and to explain complicated subjects.
