Description

The Senior Trainer position is designed to help support the learning, educational, and technology utilization needs of our Introducing Broker Dealer Customers. As a subject matter expert on Pershing's applications and related policies and procedures, the trainer helps to ensure that our customers are utilizing our technology as efficiently and effectively as possible. Trainers have the unique opportunity to interact with varying audiences, across all corporate levels at the broker dealers and help to support each of their varied business lines. The trainers collaborate internally with the Global Strategic Relationship team and help support customers ongoing key business initiatives. Trainers also play a vital role in the support and transition of new business onto our platform. These responsibilities include helping the customers to acclimate to our technology and ensuring their transition to the Pershing platform is as seamless as possible.

On a daily basis, trainers conduct training using a variety of learning techniques including e-Learning and in person facilitation at one of Pershing's training facilities or on-site at a customer location. Trainers are required to stay abreast of Pershing's technology enhancements, work independently with customers while managing and conducting a schedule of training events that are in line with their specific needs. This role involves a significant amount of travel and is highly autonomous, requiring the trainers to consistently be able to make decisions, exercising good business judgment. In addition to their customer facing responsibilities, the trainers participate on various department and business unit teams.

Through collaboration efforts on these teams, trainers validate and propose enhancements to existing course offerings. They also play a key role in defining, developing and creating new learning offerings for customers. At a firm wide level, trainers utilize their broad level of knowledge to help drive forward initiatives and technology rollouts by actively representing the needs of our customers.
