Teva Parenteral Medicines has an excellent opportunity for a Sr. Training Specialist (QC).

Responsibilities:

The Sr. Training Specialist (QC) is responsible for managing the design, development and implementation of QC Laboratory related training programs. The SR. Training Specialist (QC) works with QC analysts, Subject Matter Experts, OJT Trainers, and Department Management to develop competency based, technical training programs. In addition, the Sr. Training Specialist (QC) develops Instructor-led, computer-based, On-the-Job, or a combination of these types of training programs to align with TPM's training policies and programs.

Manage technical training activities to QC lab personnel on topics inculding but not limited to wet and instrumental testing, compendia (USP EP/JP), calibration and maintainance of instruments, preparation and labeling of laboratory reagents, reference standards, or solutions, performance of analytical techniques and interpretation/analysis of data.

Work with QC lab stakeholders to establish and execute a departmental plan that incorporates technical and human capital skills alignment with organizational goals.

Provide guidance and recommendations to QC department management on the design, selection, and implementation of continuous improvment practices, equipment, changes, root cause analysis and data/metrics evaluations.

Manage QC training related compliance responses including but not limited to deviation investigations, corrective and preventative actions, and audit observations.

Support Quality Training department initiatives that may have impact on QC labs.

Manage the QC Lab training program to ensure staff is adequately trained

Ensure all training is captured and coordinated through TevaLMS

Develop manuals, modules, courses, job aids, and SOPs to support QC lab training

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a related field, e.g., Science, Engineering, or Education.

Masters in in a related field, e.g., Science, Engineering, or Education preferred.

4 - 6 years experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory or equivalent regulated laboratory.

3-5 years experience in training.

Demonstrated experience in training program design.

Experience with public speaking in a small to medium group settings (5 to 100).

Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as 21 CFR 210 211.

Knowledge of Empower and Agilent Chemstation Software

Member of professional organization in a related field, e.g., Training, Organizational Development, Education, or Human Resources

Computer literacy required, including Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and Access.

Strong hands on analytical and technical writing skills required.

Excellent program design and curriculum development skills required.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required.

Must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
