The Reporting Analyst is responsible for managing client, consultant and custodian reporting requests for clients located in Canada. Responsibilities will include the completion of monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables (both standard and non-standard) and ad hoc and complex reporting on underlying assets. The Reporting Analyst will interact with various teams across SSgA including Relationship Management, Performance Measurement, Legal, Compliance, Portfolio Management, Operations, etc.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication and organizational skills. The position is located in Boston.
Responsibilities and expectations:
- Assist in relationship expansion and securing existing clients by servicing our clients' reporting needs to the highest degree possible.
- Review reporting deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
- Handle reporting requests in a prompt and concise manner.
- Ensure that all issues are brought to resolution with clear communication and thoroughness.
- Strive to anticipate client questions and be proactive in communications.
- Build strong internal networks to ensure a high level of coordination and the ability to complete timely reporting.
- Provide support to internal teams as it relates to reporting.
- Additional responsibilities will include continually enhancing processes and procedures to ensure the utmost level of client support and communication
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 3 years in the investment management industry
- Client facing experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Problem solving skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Able to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external parties
- Willing and able to take on additional responsibilities
- Effective team player with positive attitude and ability to drive initiatives independently
