State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) is currently looking for a Regional Consultant in our Private Wealth Solutions channel for our Southwest territory (based in Houston or Dallas) covering the Southwestern portion of the United States. 

This primary function of this role is to distribute the SPDR line or ETF's as well as SSgA mutual funds and alternative investment offerings from SSgA and its affiliates.  SSgA currently manages approximately $2 trillion in assets and is a leading ETF provider with over 120 SPDR ETF's and $350 billion in ETF assets. State Street is a pioneer and innovator in the ETF industry launching the first ETF in 1993 and the first commodity ETF (GLD) in 2004. State Street has more than doubled its ETF assets in the past five years and currently has approximately 25% market share. 

We are seeking a driven, self-motivated Regional Consultant to build and grow relationships with top Private Wealth and Private Bank Advisors focused on the Ultra-High Net Worth market. 

Responsibilities 

• Call on leading wealth management advisors at firmsincluding as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Barclays, US Trust and Deutsche Bank 

• Deliver sales presentations, seminars, and meetings with financial advisors, specialists, and centers of influence 

• Report activities and sales opportunities in a timely manner to the CRM system

 • Contribute to the team on a regular basis to help foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration 

• Work closely with the National Accounts Team and expand relationships with regional Trust Bank home offices 

• Manage budget to maximize time and resources 

• Work with your Internal Sales Consultant (ISC) and Internal Sales Associate (ISA) to effectively cover the region

 • Strong existing relationships within the territory and the ability to develop new relationships with financial advisors in order to drive sales and increase SSgA brand recognition as a broad based solutions provider

 • BA/BS degree required 

• FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 65) required 

• MBA, CIMA, CAIA or CFA certification preferred 

• 5 – 7 years direct outside intermediary sales and territory management experience with an alternative investment, mutual fund, separate account, or ETF distributor 

• Ability to travel extensively within the territory 

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 

• Exceptional sales presentation skills 

• High energy, motivated individual, commitment to excellence 

• Ability to work in a team environment is critical 

• Reside in the territory
