The Senior Information Security Analyst is located in Boston and will report directly to the Information Security Officer (ISO) within the Governance and IT Risk Management team.
Working under the direct supervision of the ISO, the senior information security analyst will be responsible for supporting and developing SSgA's information security, IT business continuity governance and IT risk management programs.
With oversight, the candidate will be directly responsible for leading complex initiatives which include but are not limited to access controls, risk management framework development, vulnerability assessments and assessing transformational risk.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- 5-7 years of experience
- Good knowledge of information security standards and frameworks
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- A strong communicator with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Good project management skillswith excellent verbal and written skills
- Detail oriented, self-starter with strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both with minimal supervision within a global team and independently
- Willingness to learn
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
- Good understanding of IT risk management and business continuity principles and frameworks
- Hold a professional certification such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC or be able to obtain within one year
