Staff Accountant – $55
Working with one of Long Island's most dynamic technology corporations who is looking for someone to join their corporate accounting team. This company is highly globalized, publicly traded and growing.
This position will work on the Corporate Accounting team and will be involved in all aspects of accounting; month/quarter/year end close, journal entries, bank recs and will specialize in intercompany accounting and reconciliations for their multiple divisions on an international basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to really get exposure to the inner-workings of a large company's accounting and financial reporting functions.
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of accounting experience, a mix of public accounting and corporate accounting is highly preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP principles along with experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
Bachelors degree in Accounting along with strong technical abilities in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc)
