Summary:
Anatomic Iron Steel Detailing is seeking to hire four senior steel connectors familiar in the use of Tekla Structures 3D steel detailing software V17.
Position:
Tekla Structures V17 operator, specifically for connecting steel elements within the 3D model using macros, component macros, and Tekla functions. User must be familiar with connecting beams, columns, bracing, flex bracing, and light steel elements.
Job location:
Inital three month review and training term in Krakow Poland. Then work position will be either in our Presque Isle Maine office, or work from home anywhere in the US or Canada.
Position Qualifications:
1) At least 5 years of experience working as a structural steel detailer in the steel industry in North America.
2) At least 3 years of experience working with Tekla Structures 3D Detailing software
3) At least 2 years of experience working as a structural connector with Tekla Structures software
4) Indepth understanding of the Tekla Structures platform, including the use of modeling, copying, macros, component macros, UDA's, Bracing, Flex bracing, and modeling and connecting of complicated steel structures.
5) Ability to read and understand structural design drawings, architectural drawings, and construction documentation.
6) College, Vocational, Polotechnical or University Degree.
Position and company description:
Anatomic Iron Steel Detailing is a structural steel detailing company working in the US and Canadian markets. We have 38 Tekla Structures licenses and prepare shop drawings and erection plans for new construction buildings across North America including hospitals, medical centers, university buildings, high schools, and industrial projects.
We are now expanding our senior modeling and connecting department and looking to hire four senior structural connectors. These connectors will work in V17 of Tekla Structures and complete the complex connecting of projects, including flex bracing, complex column and beam connections, skewed connections, and modeling and connecting of sloping and curved roof structures.
Successful applicants must be very familiar with the use of Tekla Structures V17 software and complex macros and component macros. A well developed ability to read and interpret structural design drawings and documentation is mandatory in order to transfer the information from the design drawings into the 3D model.
